Automating Creativity
Today’s
business is characterized by extremes - extremes in corporate expansion
and contraction, changing business paradigms, and intensive competition.
In this environment, entrepreneurs must be able to efficiently generate,
manage and communicate ideas. Yet classic education favors critical over
creative thinking – useful for analyzing, not creating, ideas. Based
on the Nobel winning Left/Right Brain research, Mind Mapping was developed
to be a more effective thinking tool. Although long accepted in Europe,
it is still relatively new in the U.S. Recently available as a software
application, Mind Mapping is becoming a key management tool for ideas
in the workplace.
This
talk introduces the audience to the history of Mind Mapping with short,
fun exercises and colorful multi-media.
